Sebastian Bohren, Geige und Aljaz Cvirn, Gitarre

Der Schweizer Geiger Sebastian Bohren, Gründer des Bruggfestivals, und der slowenische Gitarrist Aljaž Cvirn bilden ab 2020 ein Duo, das klassische Werke für Violine und Gitarre neu interpretiert. Virtuose Stücke wie Tartinis «Teufelstrillersonate», Saint-Saëns «Rondo Capriccioso», Bartóks «Rumänische Tänze» oder Musik von Fritz Kreisler erklingen in farbenreichen Arrangements. Die filigrane Gitarrenbegleitung verleiht der Violine Leuchtkraft und Ausdruck – eine kammermusikalische Begegnung mit besonderem Klangreiz.
